Sunspots

Since Sunspot 1002 appeared in Sept 2008, the sun never went more than 30 days between worthwhile Cycle 24 sunspots. The last noteworthy Cycle 24 sunspot appeared Jan 9 (Sunspot 1010) . To keep that trend going a sunspot will need to appear in the next 7 days. For now the sun remains blank and solar activity will remain very low.
